Bench Probation onto a Judge, and monitored by Enhanced Bench Probation Program (EBP)
Enhanced Bench Probation monitors DUII offenders by entering them into the Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS). If an offender has police contact, the EBP office receives a LEDS “hit”. EBP staff sends a report to their Bench Probation Judge informing them of the violation from information gathered from a police report or contact with authorities of the violation.
The authority over the offender and his case remains with the courts and the offenders Judge.
