On May 2, Chair Jeff Cogen submitted his proposed 2013-14 budget. A series of public meetings will be held throughout May for citizen imput. We welcome testimony during these meetings to find out what the priorities are for the citizens living in Multnomah county.

Three Multnomah County commissioners re-elected for a second term affirmed their commitment to the people of this community during a swearing in ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 10. Surrounded by their families and friends, Commissioners Deborah Kafoury, Judy Shiprack and Diane McKeel were sworn in by Nan Waller, Multnomah County Circuit Court presiding judge, in front of a packed board room.
