Joetta Ohren is a volunteer with Multnomah County Animal Services and winner of a 2015 Volunteer Recognition Award.

“Joetta started out as a cat foster volunteer in May 2011. She and her husband, Joe fostered for about a  year. In 2013, Joetta decided to bring her cat expertise to the shelter, by volunteering in the cattery every Saturday morning. Joetta and her shift mates find homes for many cats during their time on Saturday’s. Since she has such good customer service skills and a vast knowledge of cats, she became a cattery mentor in 2014. Joetta has a couple of her own foster failures at home!”
