"Nita has contributed greatly to the Business Applications and Technology (BAT) Team unit. She built, tested and set up a database for our Adult Services Division Use of Force Instructor to track incidents in the field (e.g. arrest, guns being drawn, injuries, accidents). Utilizing the database, he will be able to tailor safety training for our PPO’s. He will also be able to identify patterns in incidents that will provide valuable safety information to our officers in the field. Nita is always looking for something to keep her busy. She has learned a great deal about complex criminal justice business practices and how that impacts our technology needs. She has been able to incorporate her technical knowledge into the practice of gathering business requirements and proposing technology solutions that fit the user’s needs. Her personality and her enthusiastic approach to problem-solving make her a great team player as well."
