Foster Grandparents serve from 15 to 40 hours per week in locations including schools, head start programs, after school program, SUN programs and other child and youth based sites.
- We find you a site
- We do the work of connecting you to a location
- We find kids you might be interested in assisting
Volunteers receive:
- Pre-service orientation
- Training from the organization where you will serve
- Supplemental accident and liability insurance
- An hourly non-taxable stipend for volunteer and training hours that will not impact your SNAP benefits
- Transportation reimbursement
- Meals while volunteering
