ADA Training for Multnomah County ADVSD RFP Applicants

In accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Multnomah County strives to ensure that individuals with disabilities enjoy equal access to services, programs and activities, free from discrimination. All contractors and subcontractors of the County must similarly comply with these federal, state and local regulations. This webinar will provide an overview of our obligations under Title II of the ADA, and describe the County's policies and practices in complying with those standards, as well as our expectations for service providers. Jonathan is the Civil Rights Administrator for Multnomah County. Previously, he was the co-founder and director of OPAL Environmental Justice Oregon, a community-based nonprofit, and a practicing civil rights attorney. Jonathan also teaches environmental justice and civil rights at Lewis and Clark Law School.
