Starting Monday, February 19, a night shift will be working on construction of Multnomah County's Central Courthouse at SW Madison St. and SW 1st. Ave. at the west end of the Hawthorne Bridge. The crew will work from 10 pm to 4 am Monday through Thursday. The crew will install steel rebar in columns for the courthouse, which requires use of the project's construction crane. The crane is used for other work during the day shift, so the night crew will help the project to stay on schedule. The night work will not generate significant noise and will not impact traffic around the project.
