Traffic Alert: Night closures of SW Madison St. closed at Hawthorne Bridge
SW Madison Street will be closed between SW First Ave. and SW Naito Parkway between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. at times in the next two weeks during relocation of utilities required for construction of the new county courthouse. The eastbound approach to the Hawthorne Bridge from SW Madison St. will be closed to all modes of traffic between SW Naito Parkway and SW 1st Ave. from March 21-23 (through Friday morning) and March 27-30. One of the eastbound lanes will close at 8 p.m., and the second lane will close at 10 p.m. Eastbound bridge users can access the bridge from northbound SW Naito Parkway at night.
