Chris Fick, Chief of Staff
Chris has worked for Chair Vega Pederson since she was elected to the Board of Commissioners in 2017. Prior to that, he was Multnomah County’s deputy director of government relations, working on housing, human services and transportation issues. Previously, he worked at the League of Oregon Cities, an organization that represents cities before the Oregon legislature, specializing in tax, finance and economic development issues. Chris also worked on Capitol Hill for former U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski of Maryland on education, energy, environmental and budget issues.
Chris was born and raised in Portland. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Oregon and a master's degree in public policy from the University of Maryland. He has two kiddos and lives near Peninsula Park.
