Financial assistance is available to East County Small Businesses
Multnomah County, in collaboration with regional economic partners, has established a Small Business Relief Fund for small businesses impacted by COVID-19. If your business is located in the Cities of Gresham, Fairview, Troutdale, Wood Village or Unincorporated East Multnomah County, please review the following information.
Are you a business owner in East Multnomah County?
Business relief funds are available for small businesses that have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Priority will be given to those in East County that were prohibited from operating or experienced a decline in sales of 25% or more due to public health restrictions.
These funds will be distributed to the Portland Business Alliance Charitable Institute.
Applications open at 8:00 AM on Thursday, December 10 and the application deadline is 8:00 PM on Monday, December 14. Applications submitted after 8:00 PM will not be considered.

Multnomah County has partnered with the Black American Chamber of Commerce, the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Oregon, the Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon, and the Native American Youth and Family Center to provide additional funds to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color owned businesses.

Are you a restaurant or food cart owner in East Multnomah County?
If you are a Restaurant and Food Cart owner, you may be eligible for financial support to food establishments impacted by public health measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These funds are being provided by Multnomah County through the CARES Act.
This grant is open to anyone who has held a valid, Multnomah County-issued food service license between January 1 and September 30, 2020. Open to owners with 5 or fewer permits. How to Apply
To complete your application, you must send us a business tax ID form (W-9) after you apply. Multnomah County will send you instructions.
You must complete a separate application (5 maximum) for each license.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Dec. 15, 2020.
