Ways to Engage

Attend a Meeting

All of the MCCRC's meetings are open to the public and you're welcome to join us via Zoom. Visit the committee's upcoming meetings page to learn more about accessing them.

Catch Up on Past Meetings

If you missed a meeting or want to review records from past meetings, you can visit the MCCRC's meeting records page or the subcommittee pages to access agendas, meeting recordings, meeting summaries, and materials referenced in the meetings.

Written Public Comment

The MCCRC wants to hear from our community! You can share your ideas or feedback with the MCCRC by submitting public comments in writing. Fill out this form to submit your comments, or you can send an email to Kali.Odell@multco.us with the subject line "Public Comment" and addressed to either the MCCRC or the specific subcommittee to which you want to direct your comment.

To help ensure MCCRC members have the time to read through all submitted materials, we suggest keeping your submissions succinct (around two pages or less) or including a summary of points at the beginning of a longer submission. All comments received will be added into the meeting record and may be subject to disclosure upon request under Oregon’s Public Records Law.

Comments are shared with committee members in advance of meetings, so please submit them by 12:00 PM five days before the public meeting in which you would like them to be considered. For general MCCRC meetings that are typically held on the third Wednesday of the month, written comments must be received by 12:00 PM the Friday prior to the meeting. Comments received after the deadline will be included on the agenda for the committee's subsequent meeting.

Verbal Public Comment

To provide verbal comment at a general or subcommittee meeting of the MCCRC, you must sign up using this form by 4:00 PM the day before the relevant committee/subcommittee is scheduled to meet. Information on when meetings are scheduled can be found on the MCCRC's Upcoming Meetings page.

If you provide an email address or phone number on the sign up form, you will receive a confirmation notice by 12:00 PM the day the committee meets with information about how you can access the virtual meeting via Zoom or phone.

In the meeting, when it is your turn to speak, County staff will call your name and unmute your microphone to allow you to speak directly with the MCCRC. Unless notified otherwise, verbal comments are limited to 3 minutes and 30 seconds.

If time allows, the MCCRC may permit people in attendance at a meeting to give verbal comments without signing up in advance.
