Multnomah County’s draft Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the 2021-22 program year on activities related to federally funded housing and community development activities is available for public review. Multnomah County receives an annual grant from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) called the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) . Funds from this grant are used to address the housing and community development needs of East Multnomah County residents with low-and-moderate-incomes. As a condition of funding, the County submits the CAPER annually to HUD to detail how CDBG funds and other local and state funds were used in the community for the program from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.
Comments will be accepted on performance of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) housing rehabilitation, public services, and public facilities and improvement programs for low- and moderate-income residents of east Multnomah County (City of Fairview, Maywood Park, Wood Village, Troutdale and unincorporated areas in the county).
