ATTENTION Personal Support Workers (PSWs): 

Effective Monday, 5/8/23, the drop box for physical PSW timesheets will be relocated to the reception area of the Multnomah County East (MCE) Building in Gresham: 600 NE 8th St, Gresham, OR 97030. PSW timesheets will no longer be accepted at Five Oak effective 5/8/23. We continue to highly recommend submitting your timesheet electronically instead by emailing us at dd.timesheets@multco.us. This is the preferred method for submission and increases our team's efficiency in processing your timesheet.

Multnomah County Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities is currently recruiting members for our Advisory Committee

Who is the advisory committee?
Membership consists of a broad representative of the community including:
● Advocates for individuals diagnosed with an Intellectual or other Developmental Disability(I/DD)
● Individuals who are diagnosed with I/DD
● Family members of individuals diagnosed with I/DD
● Multnomah County IDDSD Director and Managers
What does the advisory committee do?
Advisory committees make a difference in the community.
● They advocate for Oregonians with disabilities by sharing their diverse perspectives and experiences.
● The advisory committee advises the Multnomah County IDDSD Director on community needs and priorities for services including:
○ Informing agency processes and procedures
○ Assisting in planning, reviewing and evaluating services
○ Discuss effectiveness of services and issues that affect those receiving services
What is the commitment?
● We are asking for a 2 year commitment
● The committee meets quarterly for 1.5 hours. Meetings are currently virtual.
● The meeting agenda includes items such as:
○ IDDSD staffing changes and updates to the division
○ Sharing community resources and events
○ An opportunity for members to provide feedback, comments and concerns directly to managers who are present.
● A stipend of $25 will be made available for meeting attending members.

Multnomah County is a case management agency that hires Service Coordinators to provide individually focused care coordination and planning to children and adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities. Our goal is to increase overall quality of life, promote independence, and integration by providing resources and service in the family home and community for individuals we serve.
