As a father of two students in the Reynolds School system I am honored to have the opportunity of running for the Reynolds School Board. I understand how essential an excellent education is that gives every child the opportunity to achieve at his/her to full potential.
My own educational experiences, being born into a migrant farm worker family, has given me a unique perspective about how education can teach our children important skills, improve their lives, and help to create a better more supportive society for everyone.
As a successful small business owner, I will contribute the following skills and perspectives to the school board. I am financially conservative, socially aware of our multicultural and diverse society, and concerned for the well being of those employees and their families that rely on me for the livelihood and support. I care deeply for this community and I want to work hand in hand with the schools, parents, community and its’ leaders to make it even better.
I believe that as our community works closely together unlocking the many human resources available that our students will benefit from that effort. My bilingual skills will help improve communication and representation in our school district
