Dear Neighbor,

A mayor’s job is to make the city work better, so all of our people can prosper.

My priorities are based on my experience growing up here, building a successful organization here, and serving Portlanders in tough economic times:

Creating Prosperity and Homegrown Jobs:As a Representative, I championed efforts to grow local businesses and to retrofit schools for jobs, energy savings, and children’s health. As mayor, we’ll strengthen local businesses and honor our values.

Keeping Families Safe and Healthy:I’ve protected services as budgets tightened and led on MAX safety, reducing human trafficking, keeping our environment healthy, and advocating for balanced transportation options.

Prioritizing Portland’s Values:I’ve worked for government transparency and limiting middle management so we can achieve our best priorities. I’ll continue to stand up to powerful interests for you and all Portlanders on proposals like the Columbia River Crossing.

I deeply value your vote,
