I have spent the last decade focused on health education and reducing barriers to healthcare on the West Coast. I grew up in rural Northern California, the first in my family to pursue a bachelor's degree. In working as the Maternal and Child Health Coordinator at 211info, I focus everyday on connecting families in Oregon with vital resources to work, learn, play and thrive. I am running for Multnomah Education Service District Board to put students first and ensure that ALL children have access to the quality education they deserve.
Expanding opportunity for students
I understand that services like post-high school programs are essential to students’ economic future. I will fight to expand career and technical education, college readiness programs and increase dropout prevention services.

I will put vulnerable students and targeted populations first. I wants to ensure that students needing special education services and those involved in the juvenile systems receive safe and trauma informed education.
