Jim is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control with over 45 years of experience in land use planning, water quality protection and improvement, erosion prevention, sediment control, resources management, wildlife habitat protection, and agricultural land preservation; Authored Best Management Practices Handbook and Model Ordinances for Erosion and Sediment Control; Serves on the National Certification Review Panel for the Soil and Water Conservation Society, and is also a member of the National Association of Conservation Districts, the Oregon Association of Conservation Districts, and the International Erosion Control Association.
