Jenny has joined the Planning Section of the Multnomah County Emergency Management team. She transferred from the Multnomah County Department of County Human Services, where she worked for a year and a half with the Adult Care Home Program in licensing and training coordination.
Before coming to Multnomah County, Jenny spent over three years as a Disaster Program Manager with the American Red Cross in Oregon and Southwest Washington. There, she helped to maintain and build partnerships with governmental and nongovernmental organizations, and to build the capacity of local volunteers to prepare for and respond to disasters. Jenny also deployed with the Red Cross on an Island Recovery team to support communities affected by hurricanes in Puerto Rico and Hawaii.
Jenny is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) with the State of Oregon and received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan.
