Home Forward is a public corporation with the ability to function as a private real estate developer. Since it was conceived as the Housing Authority of Portland during the Great Depression, it has worked to develop, acquire property and remodel properties to house the most vulnerable in Multnomah County.
The design team
ZGF Architects is an award-winning architecture, planning and design firm with offices in Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, New York and Washington D.C. Staff has designed buildings for the National Institutes of Health, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Oregon Health & Sciences University. Staff designed the nine-story Randall Children’s Hospital for Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, which opened in Portland last year.

JE Dunn Construction is a family and employee-owned that has been in business for 88 years with an office in Portland since the mid-1920’s, and is the nation’s 10th largest domestic builder. JE Dunn is excited to begin work on the new Multnomah County Health Department Headquarters. Our project team will bring lessons learned from our recent work on Jackson County Oregon’s Health Department, which will wrap up construction prior to groundbreaking for the Multnomah County facility. JE Dunn is a leader in collaborative project delivery, lean construction methods and technology integration (ie BlueBeam Paperless job system) with our in-house preconstruction, Integrated Project Services (BIM, MEP, QA/QC, Safety, Scheduling specialists) to make this a successful project for the County and our citizens.
