Who Can Apply

Opportunities are open to students enrolled in a high school, college or technical program. All students are welcome to apply, with preference given to those majoring in an area closely related to our program services.

Openings

Assignments vary, and can range in length from a single academic term to a full academic year. We match your skills and interests with the needs of our program areas, and may or may not have placements available when you apply.

Compensation and Credit

Most internships are unpaid, however we do have a few that are paid.

Students may receive academic credit for the internship. You are responsible for arranging academic credit with your school.

When can I start?

Your placement site will work with you to determine your actual start date. Students cannot begin until all required paperwork has been reviewed and the student orientation is complete.

Applications accepted on an ongoing basis. You should apply at least one term (10-12 weeks) before you would like to begin your internship.

How to Apply

Contact your school's placement coordinator. We work directly with coordinators for these placements.

Once we receive your application we will look for a possible placement with a program that matches your skills and interests. The program may also ask you for an interview.

Although we’d love to accept all applicants, our placements are determined by department and student needs.

Will my assignment lead to a job?

Employment is not guaranteed. However, we’ll keep in touch with you about position openings, future recruitments and networking opportunities.
