Due to the spread of COVID-19 and its variants in our community, all guests, staff and volunteers at a Cooling Center, library or other cooling space are required to wear face coverings indoors, regardless of vaccination status.

No one will be turned away. If you forget to bring your own, please ask for one when you arrive.

When visiting any cool indoor public space, remember to bring a mask. If you forget to bring your one, just ask for a disposable!

People may consider bringing books, games and other comfort items. Pets are also welcome at these locations.

Pet owners are encouraged to bring their own necessities such as food, water, water bowls, waste bags, toys and leashes. Multnomah County Animal Services can provide crates, litter boxes, bedding and other supplies.

Please note: Library branches are not cooling centers and do not allow pets.
