2022 Point-In-Time Count Report (3.06 MB)

Point-In-Time counts provide a snapshot of people experiencing homelessness in Multnomah County on any given night. These counts are conducted on a bi-annual basis and include people sleeping cars, outside, in abandoned buildings, as well as those sleeping in shelters.

The 2020 count was pushed to 2021 due to the pandemic - the full report was released in November 2022 (see link above), and the summary is available here.

The next Point-In-Time Count will be January 24th, 2023. Check back to this page for more information on the plan, methodology, approach and the call for volunteers to help with the count.
