Advisory committee for Sauvie Island/Multnomah Channel Transportation System Plan Update to meet on April 9th

The Sauvie Island/Multnomah Channel Community Advisory Committee will meet on Thursday, April 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sauvie Island Grange at 14443 NW Charlton Road for a meeting focused on transportation planning.  The public is welcome to attend. 

The advisory committee is reviewing the area’s Transportation System Plan Update, which is the key transportation planning document for the area. Multnomah County is the local planning authority for the portions of Sauvie Island and the Multnomah Channel within the county. 

The meeting agenda includes a presentation on the transportation needs, opportunities, and constraints memo, discussion of the proposed range of transportation solutions, and the approach for the community workshop that will be held the evening of April 15 at the Sauvie Island Grange.
