December 25, 2021

On December 25, 2021, the Juvenile Services Division was notified of yet another employee who tested positive for COVID-19.  It has been determined that there was no exposure at the worksite.

Multnomah County’s Juvenile Services Division takes the health of all youth and staff at the division extremely seriously. The latest positive case brings the total number of cases at the Juvenile Services Division to four in the past eight days

The division is working side-by-side with Public Health COVID-19 experts and the Multnomah County Health Officer. Staff continue to follow mask, distance and disinfection protocols and youth in custody are routinely offered vaccines for COVID-19. Staff are also provided information on COVID-19, including symptoms and information on testing, vaccination and other guidance

Increases of COVID-19 cases are being experienced nationwide. Multnomah County continues to follow guidelines set by the CDC, and state and local health partners to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our facility. Visitors to all Multnomah County facilities are reminded that masks are required.
