Multnomah County, Ore. (Dec. 29, 2023) — On Dec. 28, 2023, the Oregon Court of Appeals issued an order that temporarily halts enforcement of the Multnomah County ordinance that prohibits sale of flavored tobacco and nicotine products. The ordinance is set to take effect on Monday, Jan. 1, 2024, but enforcement will be postponed consistent with the Court’s order.
