Why did you join the MYC?
I know that youth are very under-represented in our community, so having the opportunity to be a part of a group that inspires and pushes for change felt like an amazing experience and one that I wanted to be a part of.
What are your passions/hobbies?
I love to sing, dance, paint, and braid hair!
Name one youth you admire and why?
Someone who I really admire is Malala Yousafzai because she fought for change at a time when there were so many barriers and so much risk. She fought for education, which is something that I think is SO important for kids.
What are issues/movements that are important to you?
I think that education is something that is very important and can be lacking in some communities. I believe that education shouldn't be a privilege, it should be a right.
