Why did you join the MYC?
I joined the MYC because during the time I applied I was interested in applying to programs that are focused on advocacy for youth and I joined because I needed a place like MYC. MYC has taught me about community and how community can be safe, vulnerable and supportive.
What three words best describe you?
Compassionate, energy, loyal
Who inspires you?
I am inspired by the BIPOC youth leaders that are fighting for change, creating community and opportunities for all.
What is an issue/movement that is important to you?
An issue that is important to me is funding schools and education. A movement that is important to me is the Black Lives Matter movement.
