WHAT: MYC & Commissioner Jessica Vega Pederson Youth Forum on the Intersections of Racial Justice, the Economic Crisis, the Climate Crisis & COVID-19. 

Please join us and several outstanding youth change-makers for a forum discussion on the COVID-19 pandemic, the economic recession, racial injustice, and the climate crisis. I will be joined by Lamar Wise, Political Organizer for AFSCME Council 75 and an organizer for the Re-imagine Oregon project, and Alana Nayak, a youth activist with the Multnomah Youth Commission, for a panel discussion moderated by Oregon Representative Akasha Lawrence-Spence about young people’s perspectives on the issues we face and a discussion about how we can build a more equitable society.
