Why did you join the MYC?
I joined the MYC because I was inspired by all that had been accomplished in previous years and I was amazed to see what an impact youth could have in their community. Also, the issues that were being addressed at the time had much pertinence to youth, and I saw great opportunity in being able to collaborate and create sustainable outcomes with many motivated young persons.
What is one goal you have for the next year on the MYC?
This year I would like to work towards establishing secure funding for YouthPass programs and expanding this resource to other young persons in the county; as well as collaborate with partners to identify and address environmental injustices upon youth in Multnomah County.
