My favorite quote is by Mahatma Gandhi saying, "Be the change that you wish to see in the world."
I joined MYC because I wanted to be more involved in the county to advocate for and help the youth population. One of my greatest passions is being involved anywhere where I can make a change in the world. Being aware of the issues in our community lows me to engage myself and others to "Be the change that you with to see in the world." We the youth are the future of this world and I believe that being a part of MYC will allow me to gain skills and experience to better advocate for youth issues.
One goal for next year on the MYC is to work collaboratively with the other MYCers to accomplish a group goal.
