Why did you join the MYC ?
One day I realized that by not working to find the solutions to all of the problems I saw in the world I was slowly becoming a part of the problem. That just didn’t sit right with me so I started looking into ways that I could advocate for the things I believe in and for the people who are not in a place to do so themselves.
What three words best describe you?
Passionate, brave, ready
Who inspires you?
A friend of my mom truly does inspire me. She has always been ready to help support me through my mental health journey, and just as a friend. I know I can always call her if I need someone to talk to at any time. But what inspires me most is how she is doing this all well battling recurring bouts of cancer.
What is an issue/movement that is important to you?
A big issue that is important to me is how mental health is not prioritized in schools
