The U.S. Census directs more than $10 billion into Oregon each year. In 2010, the Portland Metropolitan Area had some of the highest percentages of uncounted residents in the State of Oregon. With the 2020 Census a year away, we are launching a regional campaign to mobilize county services and natural networks to get out the count.

March's East County Forum will include information about regional census efforts and how you can be involved in this important event that only happens once a decade. Everyone is welcome. If you are an East County leader, a community member, or represent an organization or agency working in our region, we hope you'll attend.

Refreshments and snacks will be served.

The East County issue forums are hosted monthly in partnership by Multnomah County, the City of Gresham and our East County schools districts.

For questions, contact the office of Commissioner Lori Stegmann at 503-988-5213 or district4@multco.us.
