Sheri has been a member of Multnomah County’s Government Relations team since 2013, coordinating grant development across County departments and serving as the liaison to our Federal Delegation. She brings over 30 years experience crafting policy and programs for marginalized communities, coming to grant development after learning that even the best ideas need funding to launch. She holds a master’s degree in social work and worked in child protection, family services, workforce development, and behavioral health settings before coming to the County.
When not at work, Sheri serves as a CASA volunteer and enjoys spending time with her husband and adult children (when they are in town) kayaking, hiking, and exploring the west in a teardrop trailer
