View the entire RFP Dental Equipment Installation, Repair/Replacement, and Maintenance Services on a Requirements Basis

This solicitation was for the installation, repair/replacement and maintenance of Multnomah County Health Department purchased dental equipment throughout Multnomah County.

Sustainability questions used:

  1. Please demonstrate how your business or organization will provide the goods or services identified in the scope of services in a sustainable manner. What measures will you take to minimize impacts to the environment in the delivery of your goods or services? Please provide specific examples, metrics, details of efforts, practices, and/or processes.    
  • How do you recycle old or broken dental equipment or parts?
  • How do you recycle the paper, styrofoam, cardboard, plastic, etc from the installation and maintenance of dental equipment? 
  • How do you maximize fuel efficiency in your service delivery, such as using hybrid vehicles or alternate fuels?
  • Do you do route optimization to save fuel?

Evaluation Criteria: The proposer provides specific examples, metrics, details of practices,
and/or processes to deliver goods or services in a sustainable manner.

2.  Please demonstrate your business’s or organization’s sustainable business     practices, which could include, but are not limited to a formal sustainability program and/or policies covering recycling measures; energy conservation plans; water conservation policies; and a green cleaning policy. Please provide specific examples, metrics, and details of practices and include copies of reports, policies or plans if available.

Evaluation Criteria: Proposer provides specific examples, metrics, and details of practices,
and copies of reports, policies, or plans related to their sustainable business practices.
