Rachel Jones

Please join me in welcoming the new REACH Vaccination Coordinator, Ms. Rachel Jones-Warren.

Rachel Jones Warren comes with over 25 years of experience in clinical and health care settings that includes research and education, which has allowed her to address issues her community faces within our local public health systems. She holds a  Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Phoenix.

Being born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Rachel has been an active member of her community over the years. Rachel has been involved with various philanthropy efforts, all of which have been towards improving health and life outcomes for the Black community.

In her new role with REACH, she relishes in the fact that she will be able to serve those in her community within the places she lives and grew up.  She hopes to educate the community and reduce the fears and stigma that exist about vaccinations.

Prior to joining the REACH program, Rachel most recently worked as a Lead Medical Assistant for the Multnomah County Health Department’s Integrated Clinical Services team.

As far as her leisure time is concerned, Rachel enjoys dragon boat racing, exercising and traveling. She is also very family oriented and loves to spend as much time as she can with her son Jordan and her granddaughter, Maliyah. She also enjoys spending time with her parents, who live in Las Vegas, NV.
