2018 Drainage Improvements - East County

Project Description:

This project will replace the driveway that enters Skyland Plaza off SE Stark Street to improve drainage. The driveway is just west of the intersection with South Troutdale Road. 

This project will also add a storm inlet to the northeast corner of the intersection of 19th Street and South Troutdale Road to improve drainage on that corner and relieve water volume draining to an undersized stormwater inlet on 18th Place.

Traffic Impacts:

One lane of SE Stark St. or South Troutdale Rd may be closed during this work.  If lane closures are needed, flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone and no vehicle detour will be required. Sidewalks will be closed and pedestrian detours will be utilized. 

The driveway from SE Stark St. to Skyland Plaza was closed from October 4 - 16.  The driveway entrance to the mall from South Troutdale Road remained open.
