Project Description:

Multnomah County supported a project to replace a culvert that carries Dairy Creek below Reeder Road on Sauvie Island with a new bridge.  The project reconnected the Columbia River to Sturgeon Lake and reduced sedimentation of the lake. Multnomah County maintains NW Reeder Road above Dairy Creek.  The West Multnomah Soil & Conservation District was the lead agency for the bridge replacement project.  The district maintains a web page for the lake restoration that includes the Dairy Creek bridge project.

Traffic Impacts:

The road remained open during construction, with some traffic delays.
