A Multnomah County street improvement project on NE Halsey Street in Wood Village has been completed. The improvements between NE Birch Avenue and NE 244th Avenue included:

  • Constructing sidewalks and curbs on both sides of the street
  • Building out three traffic lanes (including a center left turn lane) and parallel parking on both sides
  • Adding bike lanes
  • Constructing retaining walls on the north side of the street

The 2013 project completed improvements made in 2009 and 2010.

Dirt & Aggregate Interchange of Fairview was the contractor for the $474,000 project, funded by Multnomah County.

Multnomah County maintains this section of NE Halsey Street and more than 300 miles of roads and bridges.
