Member Meetings

All County employees are invited to join the Multnomah County Green Team.

Meetings are 3:00 - 4:30 PM on the 4th Thursday of the month at the Multnomah Building, 6th Floor, Room 625. Monthly meetings are open to all Green Team members, regardless of prior attendance. If you are unable to attend the monthly meetings, you are welcome to volunteer for Green Team projects and events, announced through our email list and on our Commons page

To formally join the Green Team, please fill out the Employee Resource Group registration form. 

Hope Garden

Do you have a green thumb, or do you hope to learn how to get one? Join us for watering, weeding, and when the time comes, harvesting the bounty of the garden.

Sustainability Film Series
County employees can submit ideas for future films through our group page on the Commons. Members of the public can email their ideas and be notified of future film series showings by sending an email to greenteam@multco.us

Volunteering
We participate in a variety of volunteer activities that support sustainable actions. Some of these activities include tabling at Earth Day celebrations, helping to set up and monitor recycling at County events, promoting sustainability in our workplaces, and more. Contact us if you have a potential opportunity for Green Team volunteers.

Sustainability Classes
Green Team members have participated in discussion courses offered through Northwest Earth Institute. If you would like to request another discussion course or any other form of education, please email greenteam@multco.us
