May is Bike Month at Multnomah County!
Traveling by bike is great exercise, reduces traffic and air pollution and can save you money on gas, car maintenance and parking. There are many benefits to biking and many people in our region depend on their bikes to help get them where they need to go.
Join us for a free and public bike commute clinic hosted by The Street Trust on Tuesday, May 8, 12-12:30pm at the Multnomah Building, Room 126. This is a great opportunity for people who are new to bicycling or interested in learning more about bicycling and pedestrian laws. Experienced commuters are encouraged to attend and share their tips with fellow riders.
This is an inclusive event and everyone is invited including everyone from the public. RSVP is not required.
If you want to take your bike riding to the next level, join us and register for the Bike More Challenge. The Multnomah County Bike More Challenge team is going strong; since 2014, more than 700 county employees have taken the Challenge, tracking their rides and choosing to bike commute more often.
