7 Dimensions of Wellness Wheel

The Multnomah County Employee Wellness Program aims to support employees to feel good and be well. We provide a variety of resources to support well-being across 7 Dimensions of Wellness (Physical, Social, Environmental, Financial, Sense of Purpose, Emotional, and Intellectual).

Onsite Fitness Centers

The Employee Wellness Program operates three on-site Fitness Centers with free access to all County employees where they can enjoy a clean and safe place to exercise for general fitness purposes.

Countywide Campaigns

Countywide health and well-being promotion campaigns are offered throughout the year, sometimes with an individual or a team-based focus.

Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program through ComPsych is available to help County employees, their family members, and household members find solutions for everyday challenges. This includes free and confidential counseling, legal and financial information, work-life balance resources, and more.

Wellness and Lactation Rooms

Many of the Multnomah County buildings offer a dedicated space for employees expressing milk and for other wellness needs.

Health Plans

The County offers two options for health care insurance providers. In addition, they both offer free health and lifestyle coaching, online interactive health risk assessment tools, weight management services and much more. Visit the Employee Benefits page to learn more about our health plans.
