“Coretta King has been an active volunteer with the Multnomah County Health Department’s Healthy Birth Initiative (HBI) for the past two years. She currently serves as co-chair of the HBI Community Action Network Leadership Group and often facilitates the larger CAN meetings.
Coretta is always happy to help out with the planning, preparation and implementation of all HBI events and activities. She went to the National Healthy Start Conference as a consumer representative and spoke with Congressional representatives about the importance of HBI services. She is an excellent program advocate who is always available to assist HBI in any way!”
