Free counseling sessions to help FamilyCare clients find new Medicare plans

FamilyCare Health, which connects Oregonians covered by OHP/Medicaid and Medicare to physical, mental, and dental health care, is closing June 30.

This change means that FamilyCare Medicare Advantage plan members need to enroll in a new Medicare Advantage and prescription drug plan by July 31.

People who do not choose a new plan will be enrolled in Original Medicare.

Multnomah County will hold in-person insurance counseling events, by appointment, at the Hollywood Library on June 22nd and at the Midland Library on June 29th.
