With Pride Northwest right around the corner, Multnomah County wants to let members of our LGBTQ community know about the wide array of services we provide.

From getting members of the public registered to vote, to sharing county job opportunities, to distributing safer sex supplies – county employees will be on hand for fun activities and to answer questions festival attendees may have.

More specifically:

  • Health Department staffers will be present to encourage open dialogue about sexual health, mental health and smoking cessation.

  • County Human Service staffers will provide resources to help combat isolation among older LGBTQ adults.

  • Elections staff will help get people registered to vote, answer elections questions and inform community members about their voting rights.

  • Library staff will sign people up for library cards and tell them about library services.

  • County HR representatives will let attendees know about job openings at the county and benefits the county has to offer as an employer.

Come down to our county booth and help us celebrate our #MultcoPRIDE at the Waterfront Festival at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, SW Pine St and SW Naito Parkway on Saturday, June 17 from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday, June 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
