Media Advisory: Health providers announce new tools to reduce opiate harms

On Tuesday, Dec. 1, Portland area pain specialists, health care providers and community members will join Oregon State Health Officer Dr. Katrina Hedberg and Tri-County Health Officer Dr. Paul Lewis to announce new tools against opiate harms.

This press conference will include a new Multnomah County Health Department report on 10-year-trends in opiate overdoses and deaths; new state of Oregon tools and new community-wide approaches to pain treatment and prescribing.
