Multnomah County offers free tickets for veterans at Portland Pickles vs. Corvallis Knights (8/3)
The promotion is possible thanks to a partnership with Multnomah County Veterans’ Services. Veterans’ Services provides benefits information, assistance and advocacy to all who have served and their families.
“Multnomah County is deeply grateful for our service members and their families,” said Sheila Balbin, who manages the Veterans’ Services program. “This special event, in partnership with the Pickles, is one small way of thanking them for their immense contributions to our community.”
The event will kick off at 7:05 PM at Walker Stadium, located in SE Portland. Veterans who are interested will be able to claim their free tickets by filling out the interest form and providing proof of service.
Thursday night’s game also marks the final home game of the regular season. The theme of the event, “Fan Appreciation Night,” celebrates seven years of Portland Pickles baseball and their loyal fanbase.
