Cole Whitehurst is the Coordinator for the College to County Mentorship program. Cole grew up in Portland, Oregon. As a graduate from George Fox University, Cole is an Act Six scholar alumni and participated in the first cohort of the College to County Mentorship Program in 2011.
His internship started in the Assessor’s Office in the summer of 2011. Cole joined Multnomah County as an employee in 2012. Since then, he has participated in various leadership roles through appraisal, mentorship, equity committees, and the union.
Cole is biracial and passionate about fostering intercultural relationships and enhancing opportunities for Multnomah County’s incoming workforce.
