This weekend the annual Portland Marathon will impact traffic on several bridges maintained by Multnomah County.
On Wednesday, Oct. 4 and Thursday, Oct. 5 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Stark Street Bridge will be closed to all motorized vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists for an annual inspection of the bridge.
On Sunday, Sept. 24 from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. the Broadway Bridge will be closed for repairs.
Next week expect traffic delays on the Hawthorne Bridge for inspection work.
Starting Wednesday, August 23 around 1 p.m. expect traffic delays for more frequent lifts on the Hawthorne Bridge.
On Sunday, August 27 the Hawthorne Bridge will be closed to all motorized vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for maintenance work.
The Providence Bridge Pedal event this weekend will impact traffic on several bridges maintained by Multnomah County.
After two years, about 2,000 gallons of paint and roughly 5000 hours of hard work, the Morrison Bridge has its first new coat of paint in 66 years.
The Broadway Bridge will close on two separate weekends in July for its annual inspection.

Crews will be installing and testing a new traffic gate on the Hawthorne Bridge on Friday, June 23.
