The Community Health Center Board (CHCB) is a patient majority board that governs Multnomah County Health Department's community health center. This includes all of the primary care clinics, dental clinics, student health centers, pharmacies, and specialty clinics within the Community Health Center program.
The board works closely with the community health center executive director and senior leadership team to provide oversight, direction, policy development, strategic planning and budget planning for the health center.
Meetings are open to the public, and are normally held on the second Monday of each month from 6-8pm. Currently, we meet virtually via Zoom, due to the pandemic.
Contact Francisco Garcia for more information (see below) and to RSVP.
We are always searching for committed members. You'll have the opportunity to:
- Stay informed about health issues and policies within the community
- Influence important decisions about health care
- Strengthen their leadership and group facilitation skills
- Help others and give back to the community
