With the National Weather Service forecasting an excessive heat warning for Wednesday, August 11th - Friday, August 14th, Chair Kafoury, and other community leaders, are asking electric utility companies to temporarily halt electricity disconnections, and restore power to any customers who had been disconnected because of non-payment, to help protect people from life-threatening heat.
